1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and WaveSeed Co. ("we," "us," "our," or "Company"), the developer and operator of the Life Weeks mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By accessing or using Life Weeks in any manner, including but not limited to downloading the App from Google Play Store, creating an account, or using any features of the App, you acknowledge that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
- You are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
- If you are between 13 and 18, you have obtained parental or guardian consent
- You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
2. Description of Service
Life Weeks is a personal life visualization and self-improvement mobile application that provides the following features:
- Life Grid: A visual representation of your life in weeks, based on an assumed 100-year lifespan
- Year View: Day-by-day visualization of the current calendar year
- Mood Tracker: Daily mood and energy logging with historical tracking
- Life Journal: Private journaling for daily entries, memories, and goals
- Goal Setting: Goal creation with deadline tracking and countdown timers
- Habit Tracker: Activity streak tracking across Login, Mood, Journal, and Health
- Weekly Reflection: Structured weekly review and reflection prompts
- Achievements: Badge and coin reward system for consistent engagement
- Wallpaper Generator: Custom phone wallpapers based on your life data
- Notes & Analytics: Additional personal productivity features
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You may use the App in a limited capacity without an account by selecting "Skip for now." To access full features, you must create an account using a valid email address and password, or by signing in with Google.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately at support@waveseed.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date
3.3 Account Security
You must not share your account with others or allow others to access the App through your account. Each account is for personal, individual use only.
3.4 One Account Per User
Creating multiple accounts for the purpose of gaming achievement systems, earning duplicate rewards, or circumventing account restrictions is prohibited.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Life Weeks only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or related systems
- Use automated scripts, bots, or other automated means to access the App
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code
- Collect or harvest any information from the App without our permission
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or servers
- Remove or circumvent any security features of the App
⚠️ Violation of these acceptable use provisions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 Your Content
Life Weeks allows you to create, store, and manage personal content including journal entries, mood logs, goals, notes, and reflections ("User Content"). You retain full ownership of all User Content you create.
5.2 License to Us
By creating User Content, you grant WaveSeed Co. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
5.3 Content Standards
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree that your content will not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Contain defamatory, abusive, or harassing material
5.4 Content Privacy
All personal content you create in Life Weeks (journal entries, mood logs, reflections) is private to your account. We do not access, read, share, or monetize your personal content. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5.5 Content Backup
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we recommend maintaining your own backups of important content. We are not liable for any loss of User Content.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our IP
Life Weeks, including its design, code, features, logos, graphics, text, and all other content (excluding User Content), is the exclusive property of WaveSeed Co. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 License to You
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Life Weeks app on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
6.3 Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any part of the App or its content. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written permission.
6.4 Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use that feedback without any obligation or compensation to you.
7. Privacy
Your use of Life Weeks is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
We are committed to handling your personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR (for EU users) and other relevant regulations.
8. Google Play Store & Distribution
8.1 Distribution Platform
Life Weeks is distributed exclusively through the Google Play Store. By downloading and using the App, you also agree to comply with Google Play's Terms of Service and applicable policies.
8.2 Google Play Developer Program Policies
Life Weeks is designed and operated in compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including but not limited to:
- User Data Policy: We only collect data necessary for app functionality as disclosed in our Privacy Policy
- Sensitive Data Handling: Mood logs, health data, and journal entries are treated as sensitive personal information with enhanced protections
- Data Safety: Our data safety declarations on Google Play accurately reflect our data collection and sharing practices
- Account Deletion: Users can request complete account and data deletion within the app or via email
8.3 Data Safety Section Compliance
The Data Safety section on our Google Play Store listing accurately describes:
- Data types collected (account info, personal info, app activity)
- Data sharing practices (limited to service providers only)
- Security practices (encryption in transit and at rest)
- Data deletion options available to users
8.4 Updates & Modifications
App updates are delivered through Google Play Store. By enabling automatic updates, you agree to receive updated versions of the App. Major feature changes will be communicated via app notifications or email.
8.5 Refunds
Refund requests for any purchases made through the App are subject to Google Play's refund policies. Contact Google Play support for refund inquiries.
9. Monetization, Ads & Purchases
9.1 Free Features
Life Weeks provides core features free of charge, including the Life Grid, mood tracking, journaling, goal setting, and achievement systems.
9.2 Advertisements
The App may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. If enabled:
- Ads are clearly distinguishable from app content
- Ad personalization can be managed through your device's ad settings
- We do not sell your personal data to advertisers
- Ad providers may collect device identifiers as disclosed in our Privacy Policy
9.3 In-App Purchases (If Applicable)
If the App offers in-app purchases or premium features in the future:
- All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing
- Prices are displayed in your local currency before purchase
- Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law or Google Play policy
- Premium features will be clearly marked and not deceptively presented
9.4 Subscriptions (If Applicable)
If subscription options are offered:
- Subscription terms, duration, and pricing will be clearly disclosed before purchase
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions via Google Play Store settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law
9.5 Virtual Items
Any virtual coins, badges, or achievements earned within the App have no monetary value outside the App and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real currency.
10. App Permissions
Life Weeks requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features. Below is a transparent explanation of each permission:
10.1 Required Permissions
- Internet Access: Required to sync your data with our secure servers, authenticate your account, and deliver app updates
- Network State: To detect internet connectivity and manage offline/online sync
10.2 Optional Permissions
- Notifications: Optional. Used only for daily reminders if you enable them in Settings. You can disable this at any time
- Storage Access: Optional. Required only if you choose to save or share wallpapers generated by the app
- Camera: Not required. Life Weeks does not access your camera
- Location: Not required. Life Weeks does not track your location
- Contacts: Not required. Life Weeks does not access your contacts
- Microphone: Not required. Life Weeks does not access your microphone
10.3 Permission Management
You can review and revoke app permissions at any time through your Android device's Settings > Apps > Life Weeks > Permissions. Revoking certain permissions may limit app functionality.
Our Commitment: We follow the principle of minimal data collection. We will never request permissions beyond what is necessary for app functionality.
11. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
8.1 No Medical Advice
Life Weeks is a personal productivity and self-reflection tool. It is NOT a medical or mental health service. The mood tracking, health logging, and wellness features are for personal awareness purposes only and should NOT be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

8.2 "As Is" Service
Life Weeks is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8.3 Accuracy of Life Calculations
Life expectancy estimates and progress calculations in the App are based on assumptions (e.g., 100-year lifespan) and are for visualization purposes only. They do not constitute a prediction or guarantee of actual life expectancy.
8.4 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WaveSeed Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
8.5 Service Availability
We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or free of viruses. We may experience interruptions, errors, or downtime due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
12. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time by using the Delete Account option in Settings or contacting us at support@waveseed.app.
9.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, if we determine that:
- You have violated these Terms
- Your conduct may harm us, other users, or third parties
- You are engaging in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Continued provision of service is no longer commercially viable
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
10.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. You agree to contact us at support@waveseed.app before initiating any legal action.
10.3 Jurisdiction
If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
10.4 Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis only and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
- Notify you via in-app notification or email
- For significant changes, provide at least 30 days' advance notice
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
16. Apple App Store Developer Policies
16.1 App Store Distribution
If Life Weeks is distributed via the Apple App Store, you agree to comply with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines and all applicable Apple developer policies in addition to these Terms.
16.2 User Data & Privacy (iOS)
- We comply with Apple's requirements for user privacy, data collection, and data usage disclosures as outlined in the App Store Review Guidelines and App Privacy Details on the App Store listing.
- All data collection, use, and sharing practices are transparently disclosed in our Privacy Policy and on the App Store.
- Users may request deletion of their account and data at any time, in accordance with Apple’s account deletion requirements.
16.3 In-App Purchases (iOS)
- All in-app purchases on iOS are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.
- Refunds for iOS purchases are subject to Apple’s policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.
16.4 Compliance Statement
By using the iOS version of Life Weeks, you acknowledge and agree to comply with all applicable Apple App Store policies and requirements, in addition to the terms set forth herein.
